Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, invited me to be artist in residence on their boat as part of the Looping the Loop, off-site program. Using Ikon's Slow Boat as my studio, I explored Ladywood and the brownfield sites of Ickneild Port Loop, tracing the industrial past of the area, documenting walks, conversation and investigations in photography and watercolour which were later displayed on the windows of the boat as part of the public programme.
