Appendage was a solo show curated by Suzannah Pettigrew at The Depot, London, in 2015 following the culmination of 12 months work after winning the Sky Arts Academy Scholarship in 2014. The show, which was formulated from a bedroom in a flat above a Coral betting shop on Whitechapel High Street, centred around ideas of descent, fragility and human consumption. The intentionally over-saturated show that included painting, sculpture and video, was divided by Piley, a concertinaed carpeted wall that controlled the way in which the viewer moved around and consumed the space.
