For the Royal Academy Schools Show 2022 James Lomax and Kobby Adi worked together to make a show within the former Architecture Studios, removing stud walls that had been in place for decades to reveal the shadows of former architectural casts and reliefs before installing their own works within the space.

On Picadilly James inserted a photograph, taken in 2018 of a nearby shopfront, into the existing signage belonging to Burlington House. In the Architecture Studio he presented a found plywood panel (removed from a construction site on Cork Street)l, six concrete tablets (casts of cardboard boxes collected from nearby stores) and a photograph, a framed copy of the photograph placed on Piccadilly, in the location of the former darkroom. Kobby presented a looped film on a cube monitor alongside the paperwork, confirming his gift to the Academy of a 16mm film, pinned to the wall alongside James' plywood work.
