As with every single person in the country at present, artists are finding ourselves in precarious situations. Like many other artists, I support myself through a mixture of funding, sales of work, educational work and technical assistance for galleries. All of this employment is freelance and I now find myself with all my work cancelled for a minimum of three months.
To combat this and provide myself with an income, whilst supporting other artists, I am making a work available, Red Sky at Morning, through the #artistsupportpledge. The #artistsupportpledge allows artists to support each other by each pledging to purchase a work for £200 off another emerging artist once they themselves have made £1000.
